Many strengths but many drawbacks too

I’ve owned this scooter for 3 months and use it primarily within the home and for air travel. I am unable to walk at all.
STRENGTHS: Good value for price, much improved ground clearance over old Go-Go, very portable, comfortable seat, excellent maneuverability and long battery life with 17 amp-hour battery.
WEAKNESSES. The biggest one, and it is dangerous, is that the motor remains engaged for about one second after releasing throttle. I’m not talking about it coasting after releasing the throttle; it remains under power. On three occasions this has caused me to flip over when it climbed an obstruction and I was unable to stop it and on numerous occasions it has squashed my foot against an obstacle for the same reason. If buying one ensure yours doesn’t do this. I don’t know whether it is a design fault or a problem unique to my scooter.
My particular scooter stops unexpectedly several times a day and emits an ear-piercing beeping sound indicating that I am trying to insert key while the throttle is engaged. I am not. The Pride dealer has replaced the throttle mechanism but it still does this.
At night, the charge meter needle has a very bright blue light; it is so bright that I have to place my hand over it to see where I am going.
The basket is so small as to be near useless for shopping. I use the old one from my previous Go-Go although it does not clip on properly to the new one.
The new coloured plastic clip-on plates scratch very easily.
